Answer: Toothpastes do not contain any toxic matter. However, a child may eat too much of toothpaste which is undesirable. Supervise your child when he or she brushes teeth. Do not use much of a toothpaste - just place a peanut of paste on the toothbrush and press it down inside the brush so that it is smeared over the bristles.
